Loudoun Hunger Relief is Loudoun County's primary emergency grocery resource. It was founded in 1991 as Loudoun Interfaith Relief. Since 1991, LHR has been the vehicle for distributing over 25 million pounds of food to Loudouners in need. Last year, LHR served an average of 650 families a week in need of food.

These efforts led to the creation of the Loudoun Human Services Network. The Network continues to make an impact today and is the collective voice for the county’s human service agencies. So much appreciation is given to our volunteers from our clients, and many times we are thanked and a blessing added when they receive their food.
